Services

OPTOMAP: Our latest hi-tech addition the OPTOMAP imager - a computerized digital mapping of the retina. This "must have" diagnosis test allows for the annual documenting of eye health and allows the early detection of eye diseases that could cause blindness if left unchecked. It is highly recommended for all patients and is very reasonably priced to make it an affordable safety net for your vision.

COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMINATIONS: Our basic comprehensive examinations are anything but "basic". Each patient receives full evaluation of refraction errors as well as 21 point check of the health of the eye, which includes testing for glaucoma, dry eye, color perception, and all other common eye disease concerns. Dilated Fundus examinations and automated visual field testing are also available.

EMERGENCY TREATMENT: Our medical optometrists can also diagnose and treat conditions of the eye requiring medication and monitoring of an emergent nature.

CONTACT LENSES: Metro Optics Eyewear specializes in the expert fitting and training of all types of CL's, including, extended wear, daily wear, color lenses, hard lenses, RPG gas permeable lenses, bifocal and progressive lenses, and lenses for keratoconus treatment.

REPAIRS: Metro Optics Eyewear stocks thousands of parts for the repair of most eyewear styles. And if we can't fix it on the spot, we can come up with an immediate solution to get you back up and running quickly.

MAGIC MIRROR: A computerized video system that lets you see how the glasses will look on you before they're made. It allows for the simultaneous viewing of up to four pairs at one time, as well as the ability to add color, anti-reflective coatings and prescription magnification or minification so you can make a comprehensive and informed decision about you eyewear or color contact lenses.
